Academic Plan

The BS in Genomic Medicine program at Temple boasts a versatile curriculum designed to accommodate a wide range of research backgrounds and interests. We provide a core set of foundational courses, primarily taken during the first three years, allowing students to focus on coursework early and dedicate more time to intensive research and electives in their areas of interest later.

Students are encouraged to participate in undergraduate research and gain experience in a variety of disciplines. In their senior year, which primarily consists of elective courses, students can choose subjects that align with their career goals. This approach enables them to create a unique bachelor's degree in a subdiscipline that best prepares them for their envisioned future.
